FX’s ‘The Strain’ Premieres Tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT

Strain

For those that haven’t seen the creepy billboards with the worm in the eye, you’re missing out. The Strain is based on the best-selling vampire novel trilogy of the same title written by filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and author Chuck Hogan. The show centers around Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll of House of Cards), head of the Center for Disease Control in NY and is dealing with a custody battle of his son and his wife’s new boyfriend moving into his home, all while investigating a mysterious viral outbreak with supernatural connections. The show has a definite creepy factor that made me scream during the day and jump out of my seat, all of which my neighbor can attest to, but it is definitely something I will continue watching.

The Strain premieres tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
