‘The Blacklist’ Preview: “Dr. Linus Creel” [Photos and Video]

Last week’s Blacklist reminded me so much of that bad Jude Law movie Repo Men, except the doctor was using real organs and not artificial ones. It also marked the debut of Paul Reubens’ character Mr. Vargas, who is super creepy by the way. But I think that’s just Paul Reubens in general. We also left off with Red visiting his ex-wife – not knowing how her hand is with the loss of a digit. But when it comes down to it, we all want to know what Naomi (Mary-Louise Parker) is hiding. She obviously has a secret and it has to do with Elizabeth.

There are too many similarities between Liz’s story about the fire when she was a little girl and her father that make us want to believe there’s a connection to Reddington. The preview definitely leads us to believe Naomi and Red know something that they haven’t told us.

Liz also has some new people in her life that she doesn’t trust including Samar, who we know is working for Reddington. And now there’s this new “neighbor” who is obviously a bad guy. I mean, why else would he have a giant assault rifle in his room. And why on earth would she voluntarily give up the fact that she’s a federal agent to a complete stranger when she is somewhat off the grid, moving from motel to motel.

This week’s episode titled “Dr. Linus Creel,” Red tips off Liz that a dangerous social-psychological experiment may be underway after a series of seemingly nonviolent citizens become killers. He also “tries to convince Naomi (Mary-Louise Parker) and her husband into accepting a complicated proposition.”

The Blacklist airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
