This week’s episode of Arrow might be the best one yet, and not just because it marks the 50th episode of the hit CW series. Everyone is coming home to Starling City including Thea, Nyssa (Katrina Law) and even Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) himself. It is also when Matt Nable first appears as legendary League of Assassins figurehead Ra’s al Ghul, who also happens to be Nyssa’s father.
Now I’m not exactly sure of the timeline of when all of these events take place, as we know that Sara was killed by an archer, by someone she knew and now the Dark Archer just happens to return? Oliver believes he could be responsible for her death and is determined to bring Sara’s killer to justice. Nyssa comes back to say goodbye to her friend and lover and ends up working with Oliver to find whoever killed her, if that’s Merlyn or not. Apparently, since Malcolm faked his death, the League has been searching for him ever since and knows that he too is back in Starling City. Oliver also found Sara’s hard drive with photographic evidence proving that Malcolm Merlyn is in fact alive and well, which accounts for why she came back to Starling City in the first place.
Will Oliver stick to his no-kill policy even if he finds out that Merlyn killed Sara?
Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
