In case you’ve been living under a rock, Nina Dobrev guest stars in this week’s episode of The Originals. The actress will be tackling her fourth, I repeat fourth doppelgänger, this time as Tatia, the one who captured the Mikaelson’s hearts back in their Viking days.
We find out about the love that haunts Elijah’s past when Lenore a.k.a. Esther chains up her own son and goes inside his mind, searching through his memories in order to “purify” him. What she comes across is the face of Tatia, the one who she used back in the day to turn her sons into vampires in the first place. What. A. Bitch.
Meanwhile, Hayley is desperate to find Elijah and seeks out the help of Marcel, only to find out that Klaus is also in trouble and has to decide between the two Mikaelson men. I’m sensing a repeating theme here. A vampire love triangle!
Let’s not forget about Cami, who is hoping to find the good in Klaus and bring it out of him, only to be taken hostage by his father as a way to lure out Klaus. Then there’s Davina, she thought she found someone she could trust and talk to. Too bad he’s a lying, manipulative witch who also happens to be Esther’s son.
Check out the official synopsis below:
In order to show Elijah that her plan is what’s best for him, Esther forces him to relive a time long ago when he loved a young woman named Tatia. With the help of Marcel, Hayley is determined to find Elijah, who has gone missing, but is torn when she discovers that Klaus is also in trouble. Elsewhere, Cami finds herself in a dangerous situation when Mikael takes her hostage as a way to lure Klaus to him, and Davina (Danielle Campbell) makes an upsetting discovery about Kaleb’s (guest star Daniel Sharman) true identity. Lastly, a violent confrontation ensues when Klaus comes face-to-face with Mikael.
The Originals airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
