You guys, so much happened during “Friendsgiving” on The Vampire Diaries that I don’t even know where to begin.
First of all, Jo is the key to this entire situation. She is the older sister to Kai and the twins, a.k.a. Liv and Luke, and is in possession of the Ascendant that will help bring Bonnie back to this world. Speaking of Bonnie, both Elena and Caroline find out that their best friend is indeed still alive and the boys are trying to get her back. They’re taking their sweet ass time, but at least they’re trying.
This week’s episode titled “I Alone,” finds the entire gang in a bit of a mess. Let’s continue with the hunt for Bonnie, and the fact that someone finally tells Jeremy what’s going on. I mean, wouldn’t you be a bit unnerved after having to say goodbye to your girlfriend over and over again. And by goodbye, I mean, like she’s dead or about to die or stuck on “the other side.” That’s gotta be exhausting, not to mention depressing. He’s been calling her cell phone every day for God’s sake. Even paying the bill! Poor kid. Now he has to find out that she’s still alive and probably on her way back, if all goes according to plan.
The synopsis for “I Alone”
A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) finds himself in hot water after he carries out a plan that requires Alaric’s (Matt Davis) unwilling participation. When Elena (Nina Dobrev) shares some hopeful news with Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) about Bonnie (Kat Graham), she is caught off guard by his reaction. Liv (guest star Penelope Mitchell) helps Damon and Elena with their plan to get Bonnie back, but when things take an unexpected turn, she’s left with a difficult choice to make. Elsewhere, Matt (Zach Roerig) takes matters into his own hands when Enzo’s (Michael Malarkey) actions cross the line, and Kai’s (guest star Chris Wood) existence continues to be a dangerous threat. Paul Wesley and Michael Trevino also star. Kellie Cyrus directed the episode written by Brian Young & Holly Brix (#609). Original airdate 12/4/2014
