Just when we thought we couldn’t get enough of Jamie Dornan, we are blessed with a video of him back with his beard, just the way we like it.
Last we saw, Gibson (Gillian Anderson) was cradling Spector (Dornan) in her arms after being shot, crying out “We’re losing him. We’re losing him.”
After months of waiting to find out what will happen to Spector, BBC Two has officially confirmed he will not die and will in fact return for a third season. Earlier this year at the Netflix panel during the Television Critics Association’s winter session, creator Allan Cubitt said that he was “very confident” there would be a third season pending the go-ahead from BBC.
According to Deadline, BBC Two announced it has ordered a five-episode Season 3, with stars Gillian Anderson and Fifty Shades Of Grey‘s Jamie Dornan due back as Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson and serial killer Paul Spector respectively.
According to The Independent, “an air date of for series three has not been announced but it is expected to be on BBC Two next year,” which means everyone in the States will have to wait quite some time before adding it to their Netflix queue. Sigh.
