Fox is moving on from The Mindy Project.

The network has announced its decision after spending three years with the amazingly talented Mindy Kaling and her group of quirky doctors, nurses and none other than Danny Castellano a.k.a. Chris Messina.

The series took a turn for the better after bringing on Charlie Grandy, but that just wasn’t enough to save the comedy series from returning to its home at Fox, where it’s been for the last three seasons.

Now don’t freak out just yet. That doesn’t mean that we won’t see Mindy and Danny’s baby anytime soon.

Streaming service Hulu is in talks with Universal Television, the studio behind the series, to bring it on board for the next couple of seasons, if not more.

This could be a good fit for both parties as Hulu already owns the streaming rights and is currently offering all 67 episodes on its service.

What do you think about the news? Will you still plan on watching if it moves over to Hulu? Let us know in the comments below.
