This week, Claire Gendel and Alicia Lutes talk about “The Devil’s Mark,” the eleventh episode of ‘Outlander’ on Starz. They discuss the witch trial of Claire and Geillis, the revealing conversation between Claire and Jamie, and her ultimate choice at Craigh na Dun.
No one is coming, Geillis.
That’s right, Claire. You’re shit out of luck. That stupid brat, Laoghaire MacKenzie, has just sent you to your death with that note that you totally fell for. I’m sure you’re wishing you hadn’t spoken to her like that and slapped her in the face.
In this week’s episode titled “The Devil’s Mark,” Geillis and Claire are on trial for witchcraft. I mean, we all know Geillis wanted Dougal’s wife and her own husband dead so that they could be together. She is pregnant after all and believes wholeheartedly that he will come and save her. Ummm probably not, lady. But we do know, as we’ve seen in the past when Claire has been in trouble, that Jamie will come to her rescue.
What do you think will happen to Claire and Geillis? Will Jamie make it in time? And what is this secret that Claire discovers about Geillis?
Outlander airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Starz

This week, Claire Gendel and Alicia Lutes talk about “By the Pricking of My Thumbs,” the tenth episode of ‘Outlander’ on Starz. They discuss The Duke of Sandringham’s arrival, Geillis’ involvement with witchcraft, the changelings and the brat that is Laoghaire.
The Duke of Sandringham, played by the talented Simon Callow, finally makes his debut on this week’s episode titled “By the Pricking of My Thumbs.”
Although the Duke has been mentioned in previous episodes, this is the first time we actually see him onscreen. Remember back to the first episode, when Frank discusses the Duke’s relationship and influence with Reverend Wakefield. They both come to the conclusion that the Duke must be connected somehow with Black Jack Randall. It’s the only explanation for how he had gotten away with so many atrocities. He must have had a protector who had some great influence in that region.
Meanwhile, as Claire walks through the forest she hears the cries of a child and immediately runs towards the screams. Geillis warns her that it’s fairy hill, and that “that baby is no human child. That’s a changeling.” Will Claire do what she always does, and try to save the child?
The official synopsis for “By the Pricking of My Thumbs:
“Jamie hopes the newly arrived Duke of Sandringham will help lift the price from his head, while Claire attempts to save an abandoned child.”
