TV Land Sets ‘Younger’ Season 4 Premiere Date

Our favorite show about a 40-year-old-woman pretending to be, well, younger, finally has a return date. TV Land has announced, via social media posts, that season 4 of Younger will premiere on June 28 at 10/9c.

TV Land renewed the comedy series, starring Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff, for a 12-episode second season back in June, prior to the season 3 premiere.

Younger follows 40-year old Liza (Sutton Foster), a suddenly single mother who tries to get back into the working world, only to find it’s nearly impossible to start at the bottom at her age. When a chance encounter with a young guy at a bar convinces her she looks younger than she is, Liza tries to pass herself off as 26 – with the help of a makeover, courtesy of her best friend Maggie (Debi Mazar). Armed with new confidence, she lands a job as an assistant to the temperamental Diana (Miriam Shor) and teams up with her new co-worker and 20-something Kelsey (Hilary Duff) to make it in the career of her dreams. Now she just has to make sure no one finds out the secret only she and Maggie share.

But things have changed and there’s a lot going on. Liza finally told Josh the truth but now he’s talking about having kids and Liza isn’t sure that’s something she wants. She also can’t deny the chemistry she has with her boss Charles. I mean, come on, he’s just so handsome! Let’s not forget the ex-husband that thinks he has a chance on getting back together with Liza. That hospital scene didn’t help since she was all doped up and thought she was talking to Charles and not David.

Younger is created, executive produced and written by Darren Star, with Tony Hernandez of JAX Media executive producing for TV Land. Dottie Zicklin and Eric Zicklin also serve as executive producers and writers on the series.

Let us know what you think should happen this season and if Liza should finally decide on this crazy love triangle that’s been going on.

‘Timeless’ Heads to the 80’s in “Karma Chameleon”

Oh, Timeless, how I love you so. The time-traveling drama is heading back in time to the 80’s where Wyatt and Rufus go on a rogue mission to save Wyatt’s wife and stop her killer from being born. He’s been talking about this for quite some time and even though Lucy has advised him not to on multiple occasions, why would she get to save her sister and he can’t save his wife?! I mean, it’s a great question. But also, how is his wife going to affect the future? But how does the Hindenburg change the fact that Lucy’s sister wasn’t born and her mother is healthy? We’ll never know. Or will we? God, I hope so.

Meanwhile, Lucy has to find a way to stop them from doing something catastrophic but how can she when they left in the lifeboat without her? She has to cover for them as long as she can before Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) does something about it and Anthony Bruhl (Matt Frewer) makes a crazy confession.

Also, what’s happening with Rufus and Jiya? I can’t believe Rufus would tell Rittenhouse that he refuses to work with them and help them on future missions when he KNOWS that they’ll just replace him with someone else. And that someone else is none other than his now girlfriend and co-workerm Jiya! I mean, he knew she wanted to learn to pilot the lifeboat, what did he think would happen?

Would you risk the future and history for a loved one? Make sure to tune in and let us know what you think!

Timeless airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

‘Emerald City’ is the Dark Trip to Oz You’ve Been Waiting for

EMERALD CITY -- "The Beast Forever" Episode 101-- Pictured: (l-r) Oliver Jackson Cohen as Lucas, Adria Arjona as Dorothy -- (Photo by: Rico Torres/NBC)

I don’t know about you…well, depending on how old you are…but I absolutely LOVED Return to Oz as a child and NBC’s take on the yellow brick road classic reminds me of that same dark and twisted version of Dorothy’s adventure.

Emerald City has so much color and life just like those ruby red slippers we all remember, except no slippers in this one. There are so many twists and turns and the fight between science and magic, you won’t want to miss it. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming 10-episode event series:

EMERALD CITY -- "The Beast Forever" Episode 101 -- Pictured: Adria Arjona as Dodorthy -- (Photo by: Rico Torres/NBC)

Dorthy Gale is played by Adria Arjona (True Detective). She’s Hispanic and breathes new life into the boring, frantic character who was always in a state of cry-talking in the original Oz. You know, when you’re talking and yet crying in the background at the same time? No? Ok, cool. Anyways, she kicks ass and it’s refreshing to see someone like her on my screen.

EMERALD CITY -- Season: 1 -- Pictured: Toto -- (Photo by: Michael Muller/NBC)

Toto is the cutest German Shepherd you ever did see! No yapping here, folks!

EMERALD CITY -- "Prison of the Abject" Episode 102 -- Pictured: Oliver Jackson Cohen as Lucas -- (Photo by: Rico Torres/NBC)

Scarecrow is played by the handsome Oliver Jackson-Cohen. Each of the characters are unlike anything you remember from the original. They’re dark and harboring some type of secret.

EMERALD CITY -- "The Beast Forever" Episode 101-- Pictured: Vincent D'onofrio as The Wizard -- (Photo by: David Lukacs/NBC)

The great and powerful Oz is played by Vincent D’Onofrio who wears a wig that’s just ridiculous. He’s trying to destroy all presence of magic in the land and basically starts a fight between the witches who we’ll get to in a moment.

EMERALD CITY -- "The Beast Forever" Episode 101 -- Pictured: (l-r) Oliver Jackson as Lucas, Toto, Adria Arjona as Dorothy -- (Photo by: Rico Torres/NBC)

The yellow brick road is actually trying to kill you! Sure, it looks beautiful in the picture above, but it’s all fake. It’s opium disguised as poppy pollen which is ridiculous since it’s such a long road. How will anyone survive???

EMERALD CITY -- "The Beast Forever" Episode 101-- Pictured: Joely Richardson as Glinda -- (Photo by: David Lukacs/NBC)

EMERALD CITY -- "The Beast Forever" Episode 101-- Pictured: Ana Ularu as West -- (Photo by: David Lukacs/NBC)

The witches!! There are so many of them and the lovely Joely Richardson is such a fantastic edition to the series as Glinda. And let’s not forget about West, played by Ana Ularu, who totally reminds me of Fairuza Balk who was in Return to Oz…twist!

The first two episodes are sort of slow and you tend to lose focus on his storyline but that changes as you get into it.

Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Emerald City premieres with two back-to-back episodes on Friday, Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT

I honestly don’t understand how the FBI keeps getting hacked and yet here we are…again. This week on Blindspot, an assassin infiltrates the FBI and our favorite bad guy Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) is back for another fun-filled adventure. He’s also wearing a shirt that says Literal Garbage. I mean, this just makes me want to watch it even more.

So, back to this whole assassin situation. Someone is toying with Weller and his team and they don’t know who it is. He captures Zapata and next thing we know, Patterson is down. Is she hurt? She can’t be dead, right? The trailer has Weller yelling, “agent down!.” Ashley Johnson is my hero and one of the many reasons I tune in, so let’s hope all is well.

Meanwhile, Rich Dotcom needs help with something ridiculous, I’m sure. But what about Reade? Is what happened to coach Jones just going to go away? Zapata totally interfered with a crime scene and helped get rid of evidence. I mean, sure, they’re partners but come on.

Also, let’s not forget about last week’s episode where we found out Sandstorm has been watching Weller for like, 20 something years! Does Weller actually recognize Sheperd’s voice? Does he know her? So many questions!

Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Blindspot airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

The official synopsis for “Resolves Eleven Myths”:

RICH DOTCOM STIRS UP TROUBLE – – Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) returns to the FBI when he needs help with a pressing issue. Also starring Sullivan Stapleton, Jaimie Alexander, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson, Ukweli Roach, Luke Mitchell, Michelle Hurd and Archie Panjabi

Fsociety, man!

Our favorite hacker-drama series Mr. Robot is back! USA Network’s critically acclaimed series returns for a 10-episode second season on Wednesday, July 13 with every episode written and directed by Sam Esmail. Let’s not leave out the amazing music from Mac Quayle.

The season one finale left us with a lot of unanswered questions: Elliot succeed in taking down E Corp, but did he really? We saw the CEO, Phillip Price, tell someone that he knows who’s responsible. The trailer (seen below) makes us feel crazier than we did the first time around.

Back in January at the Television Critics Association, Esmail revealed the “there will be a lot more backstory shown in season two…and the timeline will be a little clearer.”

The techno-thriller follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a young cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group fsociety, after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater). Following the events of fsociety’s 5/9 hack on multi-national company Evil Corp, the second season will explore the consequences of that attack as well as the illusion of control.

Mr. Robot airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.

Official Synopsis:

back. one month later and omfg, five/nine changed the world. elliot in seclusion. angela happy at evil corp. fsociety delivers malicious payload. TANGO DOWN?

‘Grimm’ Preview: “The Taming of the Wu”

GRIMM -- "The Taming of the Wu" Episode 519 -- Pictured: (l-r) Silas Weir Mitchell as Monroe, Bree Turner as Rosalee Calvert, Reggie Lee as Sergeant Wu -- (Photo by: Scott Green/NBC)

There’s a new Biest in town and she’s a creepy little kid named Diana. Oh, and she happens to be Sean and Adalind’s daughter who was given to the resistance as a baby for protection from the Royal family. Not sure if that much time has gone by or if she’s like the baby from Twilight that just grew up real fast, but she’s big and has purple glowing eyes and everything.

Anyways, Adalind has GOT to tell Nick about her being a Hexenbiest again and the fact that Diana is back. I mean, she’s keeping one too many secrets from him and if she wants to stay in a relationship or whatever it is that they’re doing, then she has to come clean.

Meanwhile, Wu is legit turning into a Wesen. Here’s hoping Rosalee can come up with some sort of herbal remedy to reverse it or something.

Grimm airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

The official synopsis for “The Taming of the Wu”:

BLACK CLAW CLOSES IN AS WU’S PRIMAL INSTINCTS TAKE CENTER STAGE – SHAUN TOUB, SHARON LEAL, DAMIEN PUCKLER AND JACQUELINE TOBONI GUEST STAR – Suffering from the bite he sustained, Sgt. Wu (Reggie Lee) becomes entangled in a surprising altercation that may land him in hot water. After meeting the mysterious Bonaparte (guest star Shaun Toub), Adalind (Claire Coffee) is faced with a difficult decision that could change her and Nick’s (David Giuntoli) lives forever. Meanwhile, Hank (Russell Hornsby) gets even closer to Zuri (guest star Sharon Leal) and their relationship begins to take shape. Back at HW, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) senses that a new force may jeopardize the entire operation. Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz and Bree Turner also star.

Grimm is definitely firing on all cylinders…and I can barely keep up.

Adalind is a Hexenbiest again but still hasn’t told Nick. Although he knows because Rosalee told him even though she told Adalind to! Ugh it’s all so complicated. Plus, Adalind started working again at the same law firm she used to work at back in the day when she and Nick first met. However, I didn’t know that the law firm, or at least the partners were Wesen, did you? So they’re letting her come back because she’s a Hexenbiest? I feel like this is turning into an episode of Angel!

Anyways, let’s not forget about Eve and how she’s remembering her life with Nick when she was Juliette. She’s being very protective of him and even went to his home and confronted Adalind, telling her not to hurt him now that she’s a Hexenbiest again. She’s also using that weird creepy potion out of the witches hat to turn herself into Sean Renard so she can find out what he knows about Black Claw. Speaking of Sean, Diana is back! How did that press woman find her? Man, does she have good connections.

Meanwhile, something is happening to Wu. We’re not exactly sure, but I think it’s from when he was scratched by that Lycanthropia a few episodes back. They’ve been playing it up very slowly, but I’m hoping we find out soon.

Grimm airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

The official synopsis for “Good to the Bone”:

A WESEN WITH A TERRIFYING APPETITE TERRORIZES PORTLAND – SHARON LEAL GUEST STARS – When a man is found dead with all of the bones in his body seemingly liquefied and removed, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) find themselves in the middle of a gruesome family arrangement. Meanwhile, Wu (Reggie Lee) deals with a crisis of his own and Hank reunites with his old flame, Zuri (guest star Sharon Leal). Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner and Claire Coffee also star.
