‘Orphan Black’ Renewed for Season 4 by BBC America

Good news Clone Club: Orphan Black will be back for yet another season.

The drama series starring Tatiana Maslany has been renewed for a fourth season, announced BBC America on Thursday. The 10-episode order from Temple Street Productions is slated to air in 2016.

Sarah Barnett, BBC AMERICA President and General Manager, stated, “’Orphan Black’ is an entirely fresh and original show that stands out even in today’s crowded TV landscape. Tatiana Maslany’s buzzy, virtuoso performance headlines a brilliant cast and we are delighted to let our vocal and passionate fan base know that this wildly entertaining ride will continue next year.”

The news comes three episodes into its current season which, according to the press release, garnered the largest ever audience for the show, with 1.9 million viewers, due to the AMC Networks roadblock.

Orphan Black airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on BBC America.

‘Orphan Black’ Season 3 Trailer: Secrets are Power

BBC America has just released the first official trailer for Orphan Black season 3. This season will find Sarah leaning on her seestras like never before, and fighting with Mrs. S, after she finding out about her part in Helena’s kidnapping. Let’s not forget about poor Cosima and the race to finding her a cure.

Last season ended as soon as we found out about a group of highly trained clones soldiers dubbed Project Castor — the male version of Sarah and her clones — and I’ve been on the edge of my seat ever since.

I mean, who could forget about this moment with these two in a room.

OB TCA Exclusive

I’ve been on the edge of my seat since the season 2 finale and on Saturday at the Television Critics Association, BBC American released an exclusive image (shown above) from the upcoming season.

“In season three of the Peabody Award winning Orphan Black, a set of highly-trained military clones will turn the seestrahood on its head. In this newly released photo, Ari Millen appears as the lethal “Rudy” aka “Scarface” – the brutal and crazed Castor clone with a sleek mohawk and a menacing scar that adds to his intimidating exterior. Just when the sisters thought they knew their enemies and allies, they’ll learn they’re more vulnerable than ever before.”

Here’s a teaser trailer to refresh your memory:
