Fox has picked up three of its current series for the 2015-2016 season, it was announced today by Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs, Fox Television Group, during the network’s session at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena.

Freshman dramas Gotham and Empire will return for Season 2 and Andy Samberg’s comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine for Season 3.

The Batman prequel was the network’s highest-rated fall drama debut in 14 years, and is averaging a 4.2 rating in Adults 18-49 and 10.6 million viewers.

Averaging a 5.3 rating in Nielsen’s Most Current measure, Empire has emerged as the No. 1 new series of the season. Following its second episode, it is the only new broadcast drama this season to grow from week one to week two.

Season-to-date, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is averaging a 2.7/7 in Viewers 18-49, up +17% in the key demographic versus last season, and generating the largest year-to-year gains of any sophomore series.

‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Preview: “Chocolate Milk” [Video and Photos]

FOX’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine is probably one of the funniest shows on television and this week’s episode continues to bring on the funny. Captain Holt’s nemesis, Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch (Kyra Sedgwick), arrives at the precinct for an unexpected inspection and we’re going to get a peek into their rivalry via flashbacks to see where it all began. We’re also going to get a closer look into Jake and Terry’s friendship as they investigate a crime committed at a chocolate milk bar. Meanwhile, Charles and Gina are having their own weird private relationship that is beyond ridiculous but they are absolutely hilarious, so I’m a big fan of them having their own storyline.

This week’s episode is titled “Chocolate Milk” (I see what they did there). Check out the videos and photos from tonight’s episode below.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

“Holt is taken by surprise when his longtime nemesis, Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch (guest star Sedgwick) arrives for an inspection of his precinct. Meanwhile, Jake and Terry test the boundaries of ‘work friends’ vs. ‘friend friends’ as they investigate a stabbing at a hipster chocolate milk bar in the all-new ‘Chocolate Milk’ episode of ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine.’”
