If you were a fan of Spartacus then you’ll be thrilled to learn that Liam McIntyre has been tapped to play Mark Mardon, a.k.a. Weather Wizard on The CW’s Flash.

According to ComicBook.com his character will appear in the 15th and 16th episode. If you recall from the pilot, The Flash fought Clyde Mardon (Chad Rook), who was presumed dead after his helicopter was caught in a storm the night the particle accelerator exploded, and was the first “metahuman” they discovered (besides Barry of course).

Mark Mardon, the new Weather Wizard, returns to Central City to get justice for his brother and uses his powers, similar to Clyde’s, to find the man that shot him.

The Flash returns on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on on The CW.

Guess who’s back? If you guessed Danny’s mom then you won yourself a pat on the back! Good job, you! I’m still laughing from the time she wore the “I’m with trouble” shirt and Dot was “Trouble.” I die!

Rhea Perlman reprises her role as Annette Castellano alongside Niecy Nash as Dr. Jean Fishman. Allison Tolman (Fargo) makes her debut as Abby, Peter’s newest love interest.

Here’s the official synopsis for this week’s episode from FOX:

“Danny decides it’s time to take Mindy’s chronic tardiness into his own hands and teach her a lesson about being on time. Meanwhile, Tamra and Morgan set up Peter on a blind date with their novel-writing friend (guest star Tolman) in the all-new “Caramel Princess Time” episode of The Mindy Project.”

‘Hannibal’ Promotes Gillian Anderson to Series Regular for Season 3

Hannibal - Season 1

The Season 2 finale of NBC’s Hannibal left everyone in shock as we saw Hannibal and Bedelia fleeing the country…together! After what went down in Hannibal’s home, we were left in a state of “WTF just happened.” I didn’t know what else to say. Fans were unsure of who survived that incredible finale. I mean, Alana Bloom fell out of a second-story window! How will they ever top that season?

According to TVLine, Gillian Anderson has been promoted to a series regular as Dr. Du Maurier, which means she will have a much bigger role to play.

The third season, which is set to return in early 2015, will find Hannibal and Bedelia in Europe and on the run with Will chasing after them. The premiere will “feel like a pilot for a new series starring Mads Mikkelsen and Gillian Anderson,” teased series creator Bryan Fuller back at Comic-Con.

‘Scandal’ Season 4 Recasts First Daughter with ‘Body of Proof’s’ Mary Mouser

Madeline Carroll and Mary Mouser

The First Family will look a little different this season as ABC has just recast the role of Fitz and Mellie’s eldest child on their hit series Scandal.

According to EW, Body of Proof alum Mary Mouser has replaced Madeline Carroll as First Daughter Karen Grant. Now I’m not really sure how many people will notice the change as Karen only recently showed up this past season when she and her brother came home to visit from boarding school. However, I’m sure she’ll make quite the appearance on this coming season as she deals with the death of her brother.

Carroll was unable to return due to scheduling issues.

Mouser is set to make her first appearance in an October episode.

Scandal returns Sept. 25 at 9/8c on ABC.

Pee-Wee Herman is on a new adventure and the latest to join the list of guest stars on NBC’s The Blacklist. According to EW.com, NBC has tapped Paul Reubens for the role of Mr. Vargas, a dapper, finicky “muscle” who handles delicate situations in the criminal underworld. He will first appear in season two’s third episode and will stay for at least two episodes.

“It’s going to be something totally different, and it’s going to be awesome,” executive producer Jon Bokenkamp tells EW. “It can’t get strange enough for me. One of the most fun things is being able to write for actors who I’ve admired and think are interesting and try to play against expectations. I’d say he’s gonna shake things up a bit when enters Red’s orbit.”

Reubens started work this Friday. He joins a list of recently announced guest stars that includes Mary-Louis Parker, Lee Tergesen and Krysten Ritter.

The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix and Ryan Eggold.

Jon Bokenkamp (The Call, Taking Lives), John Eisendrath (Alias), John Davis (Predator, I, Robot, Chronicle) and John Fox serve as executive producers. The Blacklist is a production of Sony Pictures Television and Davis Entertainment.

Season 2 of The Blacklist premieres on Sept. 22 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

Adrianne Palicki Cast as Mockingbird in ‘Agents of SHIELD’

Friday Night Lights alum Adrianne Palicki joins the cast of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD on ABC. Palicki who starred in the recent G.I. Joe Retaliation movie was first thought to enter the superhero world when she was cast as Wonder Woman in David E. Kelly’s pilot, but the show was never picked up to series.

According to THR, Palicki is set to play superspy Bobbi Morse, aka Mockingbird, a S.H.I.E.L.D. field agent that appears in the fifth episode, although “perhaps not as an ally to Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team.”

SHIELD co-star Patton Oswalt teased the news last month at Comic-Con.

Season 2 of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD premieres on Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Robbie Amell Joins ‘The Flash’ in Hot Recurring Role

If you were a fan of The CW’s The Tomorrow People and are still heartbroken about the demise of #AmellWednesdays, you can now rejoice in the fact that Robbie Amell is heading back to the network in the Arrow spinoff, The Flash. Amell is reunited with executive producer Greg Berlanti and has been cast in a major recurring role playing DC Comics Character Ronnie Raymond – also known as one-half of Firestorm.

Raymond, a maintenance worker at S.T.A.R. labs and Caitlin Snow’s (Danielle Panabaker) fiance, plays an integral part in the particle accelerator accident that transforms Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) into the Flash.

Amell will make his debut on the show’s third episode of the season, putting him in the superhero universe alongside his cousin Stephen Amell who plays Oliver Queen in Arrow.

“[Producers] Geoff Johns, Andrew Kreisberg and myself designed the pilot and series to include Ronnie (aka Firestorm) — and to actually have someone with Robbie’s talent playing the role is beyond exciting,” said executive producer Greg Berlanti. “We can’t wait for viewers and fans of the character to check it out.”

Amell added, “I’m so excited to join forces with Greg Berlanti and The CW again on The Flash,” the actor said in a statement. “Being brought into the DC Universe is a dream, I can’t wait to get started.”

The Flash premieres Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
