‘The 100’ Season 4 Trailer: From the Ashes We Will Rise

The end is coming! The trailer for the upcoming season of

The trailer for the upcoming season of The 100 is finally here and there are so many things we need to talk about. Let’s break it down, shall we?!

First of all, I’m so glad Alie is gone. I was getting a little tired of that storyline but that’s just me. And, okay, maybe most of you. We left off with Clarke pulling the kill switch only to find out that “the nuclear power plants that weren’t destroyed by the bombs are melting down. No drinkable water, pre-cancerous lesions will form”….basically, they’re all going to die in 6 months time. Great! These poor kids can’t catch a break!

Meanwhile, there’s a lot of steamy moments happening like Emori and Murphy, Marcus and Abigail and hopefully Clarke and Bellamy because I need that to happen already!

Can we talk about Octavia for a minute? She is becoming even more of a badass, which I didn’t know was possible, and Indra is just so darn proud of her. She’s being called the Skyripper for obvious reasons. I mean, we saw what she did to Pike in the season 3 finale. Girl don’t give AF anymore! She’s out for blood.

Roan is becoming quite the leader in his own right and building up a new army of followers. Basically, everyone is trying to save their own group but killing others in the process.

Last but not least, we see Clarke as she turns around with her face covered in the pre-cancerous lesions.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

The CW’s New Series ‘Containment’ is Infectious

Containment -- "Pilot" -- Image Number: CON101b_0116.jpg -- Pictured: David Gyasi as Major Lex Carnahan -- Photo: Quantrell Colbert/The CW -- © 2016 The CW Network, LLC. All rights reserved.

Imagine your life turned upside down because of a viral outbreak that the government can’t seem to control. That’s the premise of the CW’s newest viral thriller Containment.

What started with one sick patient quickly turned into quarantined zones with families separated and the race to find a cure within a matter of days. I’m not sure how much fans will follow a show about a viral outbreak without zombies, but I’m definitely tuning in to see what happens next.

The series hails from Julie Plec, executive producer of both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals which just happened to star the one and only Christopher Wood as the infamous villain Kai, who plays Officer Jake in her newest series.

You also might recognize Police Officer Lex Carnahan who’s played by David Gyasi, you know, Romilly from Interstellar.

Containment premieres Tuesday, April 19 at 9/8c on the CW.

When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure. Trying to keep the peace on the streets is police officer Lex Carnahan, who has quickly risen through the ranks of the Atlanta PD.  But Lex’s job becomes even harder when he learns that his longtime girlfriend, Jana, and his best friend and fellow officer Jake, are trapped within the cordoned area.  Also quarantined in viral ground zero is 17 year-old Teresa, who is eight months pregnant and now separated from her boyfriend on the other side; Katie Frank, an elementary school teacher now placed on lockdown with her entire class, including her young son; and CDC researcher Dr. Victor Cannerts, the doctor who initially made the controversial call to quarantine the area and is now racing to find a cure for the virus.  On the outside, Dr. Sabine Lommers is leading the government efforts to contain the outbreak and has asked for Lex’s help in enforcing the cordon – which grows increasingly difficult as the public trust deteriorates. And the public has reason to be wary, as journalist Leo begins unraveling a conspiracy, finding that something doesn’t add up in the official story being told. Torn apart from their loved ones, the survivors trapped within the cordon are fighting against not only fatal infection, but also isolation, fear, and the disintegration of society around them. But as they begin to gain each other’s trust, hope remains, and on either side of the cordon unlikely heroes will rise. CONTAINMENT stars David Gyasi (“Interstellar”); Christina Moses (“Starship: Apocalypse,” “Starship: Rising”); Chris Wood (“The Vampire Diaries”); Kristen Gutoskie (“Beaver Falls”); Claudia Black (“The Originals,” “Farscape”); George Young (“Casualty”); Hanna Mangan Lawrence (“Spartacus: War of the Damned”); and Trevor St. John (“One Life to Live”).  Based on the original Belgian series created by Carl Joos for Eyeworks, CONTAINMENT is produced by My So-Called Company in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Julie Plec (“The Vampire Diaries,” “The Originals”) and David Nutter (“The Flash,” “Arrow”).

‘The Flash’ Preview: King Shark Returns to Central City

The Flash -- "King Shark" -- Image FLA215b_0054b -- Pictured (L-R): Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / The Flash and David Ramsey as John Diggle -- Photo: Bettina Strauss/The CW -- © 2016 The CW Network, LLC. All rights reserved.

Duh-nuh… duh-nuh… duh-nuh, duh-nuh duh-nuh duh-nu ~~~^~~~ We’re gonna need a bigger Flash!

Mr. and Mrs. Diggle drop by Central City to let Barry and the rest of the S.T.A.R. Labs team know that King Shark is back!

A lot happened last week and we all thought the team, especially Caitlin, might get a break after what Zoom did to Jay, but apparently not. If you recall back in episode four titled “The Fury of Firestorm,” King Shark made a brief appearance before Patty Spivot tried to shoot him and then a hooded figure, later revealed as Harrison Wells from Earth 2, saved her before it was too late. We never really knew what happened to him…until now.

In the trailer for this week’s episode titled, none other than “King Shark,” Diggle lets everyone know that good old A.R.G.U.S. had him this whole time. But then he somehow got away because all he wants to do is kill Barry.

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW.

The official synopsis for “King Shark”:

“ARROW’S” DIGGLE (DAVID RAMSEY) AND LILA (AUDREY MARIE ANDERSON) CROSS OVER TO “THE FLASH” TO TAKE ON KING SHARK — When King Shark escapes from an A.R.G.U.S. holding tank, Lila (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) and Diggle (David Ramsey) travel to Central City to warn The Flash (Grant Gustin). King Shark shows up at the West house and attacks Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Iris (Candice Patton), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Barry.

‘Arrow’ Preview: H.I.V.E. Attacks Team Arrow in “Code of Silence”

Last week’s episode of Arrow was just crazy pants. Malcolm keeps proving over and over again that he isn’t a good guy and despite what he says about doing whatever it takes to protect Thea, is still yet to be determined.

I mean, we all saw that Star Wars-Luke moment coming, right?! And now he just goes straight to Damien Darhk and tells him about Oliver’s secret child? Ohhhhhh Felicity is going to be pissed! Speaking of Darhk, let’s not forget about his psycho wife who’s decided to join in the Mayoral race against Oliver Queen. TWIST!

In this week’s episode of Arrow titled “Code of Silence,” the Demolition Team has come to Star City and it’s “like the Big Bag Wolf huffed or puffed or something.” Very descriptive 🙂

Basically, a bunch of precision demolition experts who work for H.I.V.E. and they are bringing down the house, hopefully with Oliver Queen in it. BOOM!

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW.

The official synopsis for “Code of Silence”:

SECRETS AND LIES — Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team uncover HIVE’s plan to take out Team Arrow once and for all. With HIVE’s next attack imminent, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) wonders if Donna (guest star Charlotte Ross) is safer without him in her life. Meanwhile, with the wedding fast approaching, Oliver begins to feel guilty that he hasn’t told Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) about his son.

‘The Flash’ Preview: “Escape from Earth-2”

The Flash -- "Escape From Earth-2" -- Image FLA214b_BTS_0022b -- Pictured: Behind the scenes with Grant Gustin as Earth 2 Barry Allen -- Photo: Bettina Strauss/The CW -- © 2016 The CW Network, LLC. All rights reserved.

Earth-2 is all sorts of crazy and the team needs to find Zoom and a way home back to Earth-1 before it’s too late.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead if you haven’t watched last week’s episode.

Not everything is as it seems over in Earth-2 and things are happening back home that need the teams attention. Iris is a detective, Joe is now dead, Barry is, well, not The Flash, and Caitlin aka Killer Frost, Firestorm and Cisco are bad guys working for Zoom. Well, Cisco aka Reverb and Firestorm were working for Zoom, but they were killed for not following his instructions to bring The Flash in unharmed.

Now, Iris, Earth-2 Barry, Cisco and Dr. Wells need to find Zoom before he kills our Barry and Wells’ daughter. The only way to find Zoom is with the help of Killer Frost who is probably pretty angry at Zoom for killing her beloved Firestorm. Ugh…Drama!

Anyways, back on Earth-2, Caitlin is struggling to perfect the Velocity serum so that Jay can become The Flash again and protect their city while the rest of the team is gone. Metahumans have noticed that The Flash isn’t in Central City and they’ve been roaming around doing what most bad guys do and causing problems. Jay needs his speed to protect everyone and to be himself again. I don’t think Caitlin can handle losing yet another lover.

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW.

The official synopsis for “Escape from Earth-2”:

THE EXCITING CONCLUSION TO THE EARTH-2 JOURNEY — On Earth-2, the team races to find Zoom’s lair and asks for help from the most unexpected source. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) rushes to perfect Velocity-9 so that Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) can stop the Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford).

‘Arrow’ Preview: Oliver Will Do Anything to Save Thea in “Sins of the Father”

Arrow -- "Sins of the Father" -- Image AR413b_0007b.jpg -- Pictured (L-R): John Barrowman as Malcolm Merlyn, Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, and David Ramsey as John Diggle -- Photo: Dean Buscher/ The CW -- © 2016 The CW Network, LLC. All Rights Reserved.

“Let me see if I’ve got this right…there’s a magic potion that can cure Thea’s blood lust that we’ve never heard of that Nyssa conveniently has.” Malcolm Merlyn come on down!

So, we knew all along that Thea’s blood lust was going to completely come to the surface and either kill her or, well, I guess, kill her. The time has come. She is in the hospital and only has a few days to live. Oliver wants to save his sister, but doesn’t want to do that by killing Merlyn which is what Nyssa wants from him before she hands over this so-called cure she has for Thea.

Could this get any crazier?! Don’t worry, Oliver knows that diplomacy is the way to go. All Nyssa wants is to rule the League of Assassins, so he just has to convince Malcolm to give her the ring and it’s a win-win…win situation.

Will Malcolm do the right thing and help save his daughter’s life? Will Oliver truly fight Malcolm to the death in order to get his hands on the cure to save his sister?

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW.

The official synopsis for “Sins of the Father”:

NYSSA MAKES OLIVER AN OFFER – Oliver (Stephen Amell) receives an offer from Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) that is hard to refuse. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) continues to battle the blood lust, Malcolm (John Barrowman) steps in to help his daughter, and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has a heart to heart talk with Nyssa.
