AMC Sets ‘Humans’ Season 2 Premiere Date, Releases Key Art and Trailer

Humans, the sci-fi series that deals with the age-old question of what it means to be human within the advancement of technology, is back for a second season after being gone for over a year.

AMC, along with Channel 4 and Kudos, renewed the series in July of 2015 for a second season that will premiere on Monday, February 13 at 10/9c. In addition to the premiere date, the network has revealed the key art for season 2 with a tagline, “Reboot. Recharge. Rebel.” The network also released a new trailer for the upcoming season and will air a marathon of season one season on December 30th from 9:00 A.M. ET/PT – 5:00 P.M. ET/PT.

The eight-episode second season picks up several months after the events of season one, with Niska (Emily Berrington) still at large and in possession of the consciousness code. Her synth family, Mia (Gemma Chan), Leo (Colin Morgan), and Max (Ivanno Jeremiah), unaware of her location, are each trying to find their place in the world while Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill) and Laura (Katherine Parkinson) attempt to mend their marriage. As unconfirmed reports of synths behaving inexplicably surface, the ripple effects of one simple yet seismic decision sees the past return dramatically and surprisingly to the door of the Hawkins house.  Joe, Laura, and the entire family are faced with a difficult choice that will put the family under an intense spotlight. As an emerging form of intelligent life – the synths – and an established one – humanity – fight for their places in the world, a thrilling multi-stranded narrative evolves which continues to ask: who has the right to determine what it means to be alive?

Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix, Jessica Jones) joins the cast as Dr. Athena Morrow, a pre-eminent Artificial Intelligence expert who is driven by her own motives to create a new kind of machine consciousness. Sam Palladio (Nashville, Episodes) plays Ed, a struggling café owner trying to breathe life into his family business; Marshall Allman (True Blood, Prison Break) plays Milo Khoury, a young Silicon Valley billionaire, founder and CEO of a leading technology company intent on changing the world; Sonya Cassidy (The Paradise, Olympus) as Hester, one of the most unique Synths on the planet; Bella Dayne (Man in the High Castle) as Astrid, a free-spirited young Berliner who will be tested by someone special who comes into her life; and Letitia Wright (Black Panther, Cucumber, Banana) as Renie, a bullied seventeen-year-old “synthie,” a fast-growing subculture of humans pretending to be Synths.

Humans is written by Vincent and Brackley with Joe Barton, Charlie Covell and Iain Weatherby. The series is produced by Kudos in association with Matador Films. Executive producers are Derek Wax (The Hour, Capital) and Chris Fry (The Smoke, Spooks) for Kudos; Vincent and Brackley; and Henrik Widman and Lars Lundström for Matador Films. The series is produced by Paul Gilbert and directed by Lewis Arnold (Broadchurch), Carl Tibbetts (Black Mirror: White Bear), Francesca Gregorini (The Truth About Emanuel) and Mark Brozel (Dickensian). HUMANS was commissioned for Channel 4 by Beth Willis and Simon Maxwell, and Joel Stillerman and Kristin Jones for AMC.

‘The Walking Dead’: New Season 7 Comic-Con Poster Revealed

AMC has just released the new key art for the upcoming seventh season of The Walking Dead just in time for the drama’s appearance next week at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Last we saw, newcomer Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, was about to give one hell of a beating with his beloved bat named Lucille. Because, obvi! The poster reflects what we last saw, which was Negan walking around tapping his bat on each person’s head in sort of an eeny, meeny, miny, moe-type fashion. Not gonna lie, but that scared the crap out of me.

The Walking Dead’s official San Diego Comic-Con panel is on Friday, July 22 at 1 p.m. in Hall H and will include a number of cast members like Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Michael Cudlitz, Sonequa Martin-Green, Christian Serratos, Ross Marquand, and Josh McDermitt. The one and only Jeffrey Dean Morgan himself will also be making an appearance.

AMC also announced that the trailer for the upcoming season will air during the panel at SDCC.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead returns in October. Can you wait that long?!

‘Outlander’ Season 2: Premiere Date, Trailer and New Poster Revealed

Change the future…Forget the past…Rewrite history

Starz has just announced the premiere date for season 2 of their hit series Outlander as well as new key art and trailer which gave me ALL THE FEELS!

Outlander season 2 will premiere on Saturday, April 9 at 9/8c and it couldn’t come soon enough because this whole Droughtlander thing has gone on for too long!

The network teased us with some of the new costumes back in January, but this new poster is something else. Claire’s gorgeous red dress makes you travel back in time just from looking at it and you can’t miss the “Viva les Frasers” splashed across the image. Terry Dresbach did a phenomenal job on the costumes in the upcoming season. Check out People StyleWatch for their exclusive interview with Dresbach.

Last we saw Jamie and Claire, they found out they were pregnant and about to board a ship to France to see about changing the future…well, Jamie’s future and Claire’s knowledge of the past. The new trailer (seen below) shows us that Claire has indeed gone back to Frank and can barely look at him. I mean, I can barely look at him because now all we see is Black Jack Randall and all the horrible things he’s done.

‘Bates Motel’ Season 4 Poster Revealed: She Wouldn’t Even Harm a Fly

A&E has just released the new key art for the fourth season of Bates Motel…and holy mother of pearl!

The key art is slowly showing Norman’s transformation in the Psycho prequel which was renewed for a fourth and fifth season back in June. The upcoming installment will showcase Norman’s deranged descent into madness.

The series will return with ten new episodes that further reveal Norman’s continued downward spiral and the effect it has on the family. This season Norma becomes increasingly fearful and desperate, going to great lengths to find Norman the professional help he needs. This further complicates their once unbreakable trust while Norman struggles to maintain his grip on reality. Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) once again finds himself drawn back into Norma and Norman’s lives. Will things finally heat up between Norma and the other man in her life, Sheriff Romero, and just how much further will he go to protect her?

“The vision of our incredible creative team has exposed the steady breakdown of the relationship between Norman and Norma Bates,” said Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President and General Manager, A&E and Lifetime. “We are thrilled to bring fans two more seasons to witness the next stages of Norman’s transformation into the most notorious psychopath in cinematic history.”

Season 4 of Bates Motel premieres Monday, March 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT followed by the series premiere of Damien on A&E.

FX Sets ‘The Americans’ Season 4 Premiere Date, Reveals Poster

FX’s spy drama series The Americans will return for a fourth season on Wednesday, March 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, it was announced today at the Television Critics Association winter session in Pasadena, CA.

The network has also released the key art for the upcoming season along with a description:

The Americans is a period drama about the complex marriage of two KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington D.C. during the Reagan administration. The arranged marriage of Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth Jennings (Keri Russell) grows more passionate and genuine by the day, but as the pressures and demands of the job grow heavier, the personal toll becomes almost too exhausting to bear. Having revealed their true identities to their teenage daughter Paige (Holly Taylor), Philip and Elizabeth must keep their daughter’s best interests at heart while ensuring that their cover identities, and thus their lives, remain protected. Their previous missions have already placed Philip and Elizabeth in great jeopardy. Martha (Alison Wright), a valued secretary at the FBI whom Philip married while undercover, has been an invaluable source of intel. However, when her cover is nearly blown, Philip must make increasingly difficult decisions to ensure her safety and allegiance. The Jennings’ neighbor, FBI Agent Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich), could also prove to be a renewed threat. His KGB lover/asset Nina (Annet Mahendru), having failed to turn him against the U.S., was sent back to Moscow to face an unsure fate. With Nina gone, Stan has made an effort to become closer with his family and has formed a bond with the Jennings’ 12-year-old son, Henry (Keidrich Sellati). He has also cultivated his relationship with KGB officer Oleg Burov (Costa Gorn). Stan’s newfound dedication to wi[ong out Directorate S has also led him to become suspicious of Martha’s uncharacteristic behavior. As he begins to investigate what’s been in front of him all this time, he might finally get closer to uncovering the “Illegals” – Philip and Elizabeth – that have eluded him for so long.

The premiere episode, “Glanders,” picks up on the heels of last season’s finale. Philip and Elizabeth are dealing with the fallout of all they’ve wrought. What will happen when the FBI finds out about Gene’s suicide? How will Pastor Tim deal with the revelation that they are Russian spies? And will they be able to handle a dangerous new bioweapons assignment? The episode was written by Joel Fields & Jon Weisberg, and directed by Thomas Schlamme.

‘The Walking Dead’: New Season 6 Key Art Revealed

AMC has just released the new key art for the second half of the sixth season of The Walking Dead and it looks as intense as ever.

Last we saw, Rick and the gang were surrounded by walkers, covering themselves in blood and guts so they could get out of Alexandria unnoticed. Morgan is still being mysterious and Deanna probably isn’t going to make it. We’re also going to see some new characters, including Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan.

“This image gives a look at tiny pieces of a larger world our group is about to discover,” said executive producer and showrunner Scott M. Gimple. “In the new world. they’ll find hope, possibility, tragedy and the terrifying cost of change.”

The Walking Dead returns for the second half of season 6 on Sunday, February 14 at 9 p.m. on AMC.

‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Poster Revealed: Jon Snow is Back?!

HBO has just released the new poster image for Game of Thrones’ upcoming season which will premiere in April 2016.

Last we saw, poor Jon Snow was stabbed to death by his fellow brothers of the Night’s Watch…or so we thought.

Fans have been speculating about Snow’s so-called death ever since the season 5 finale. Kit Harrington has been spotted roaming around Belfast where the show shoots and fellow cast members continuously state that he’s dead and to leave it alone. BUT HOW CAN WE???

The key art features Snow and Snow alone…are they teasing his return? Is HBO just playing along and toying with our emotions? I mean, they wouldn’t put him on the poster without him somehow coming back, right?! I have so many questions!

‘The Walking Dead’: Season 6 Key Art Revealed

AMC has just released the new key art for the upcoming sixth season of The Walking Dead just in time for the drama’s appearance next month at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Last we saw, Rick had taken over as Sheriff and the people of Alexandria and decided to “take care of” Pete, Jessie’s abusive husband. As soon as he shot him (IN THE FACE), Rick looked up to find his old pal Morgan standing there, looking as if he didn’t know who he was anymore. I mean, surviving amongst the zombies changes a person.

The poster suggests that there’s definitely tension between the two characters with the people of Alexandria divided behind them.

The banners will be placed all throughout the convention with the panel slated for Friday, July 10 at 12:00 p.m. PDT in Hall H.

Season 6 of The Walking Dead returns in October for a 16-episode season. The new companion series Fear the Walking Dead premieres later this summer.

‘Game of Thrones’: Season 5 Key Art Revealed

HBO has just released the new poster image for Game of Thrones’ upcoming season.

Last we saw, Tyrion was headed out of King’s Landing and the artwork shows him on the ship’s bow, with Daenerys’ uncontrollable dragon, Drogon, in the foggy background.

What does it all mean? We’ll just have to wait and find out.

Season 5 of Game of Thrones premieres Sunday, April 12th at 9/8c on HBO.

‘The Originals’ Season 2 Poster Revealed: Eat, Drink and Be Wary

Fans can rejoice as we now have the first look at the key art for season 2 of The Originals. The Hollywood Reporter has the exclusive image that depicts the cast (and a werewolf) sitting down at the table to eat quite the dark and mysterious feast. The tagline accompanied on the poster reads “Eat, drink and be wary.”

Camille (Leah Pipes) looks on at Klaus (Joseph Morgan) even though he told her they can no longer be friends because everything he thinks is beautiful gets hurt and she is beautiful. I’m a little surprised it’s not Hayley in between Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus since there is quite the love triangle going on there. Although, I’m not entirely sure if Klaus really even loves her, but definitely cares for the child they have together. Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), who ended up transitioning into a hybrid at the end of last season, sits on top of a wolf skin run as a wolf stands near her. How fitting.

Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) is sitting at the other head of the table, which perfectly depicts his relationship with Klaus – their constant fighting on opposite sides. Hopefully things will change this coming season as Marcel did come to an agreement and helped Klaus in his plan to get Hope out of New Orleans.

Last but not least is Davina (Danielle Campbell), who has become quite the powerful witch in her own right, and definitely deserves a seat at the table. We’ll see what happens this season with Esther and Michael back among the living.

The Originals premieres Monday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW.
