Fsociety, man!

Our favorite hacker-drama series Mr. Robot is back! USA Network’s critically acclaimed series returns for a 10-episode second season on Wednesday, July 13 with every episode written and directed by Sam Esmail. Let’s not leave out the amazing music from Mac Quayle.

The season one finale left us with a lot of unanswered questions: Elliot succeed in taking down E Corp, but did he really? We saw the CEO, Phillip Price, tell someone that he knows who’s responsible. The trailer (seen below) makes us feel crazier than we did the first time around.

Back in January at the Television Critics Association, Esmail revealed the “there will be a lot more backstory shown in season two…and the timeline will be a little clearer.”

The techno-thriller follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a young cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group fsociety, after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater). Following the events of fsociety’s 5/9 hack on multi-national company Evil Corp, the second season will explore the consequences of that attack as well as the illusion of control.

Mr. Robot airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.

Official Synopsis:

back. one month later and omfg, five/nine changed the world. elliot in seclusion. angela happy at evil corp. fsociety delivers malicious payload. TANGO DOWN?

‘Outlander’ Season 2: Premiere Date, Trailer and New Poster Revealed

Change the future…Forget the past…Rewrite history

Starz has just announced the premiere date for season 2 of their hit series Outlander as well as new key art and trailer which gave me ALL THE FEELS!

Outlander season 2 will premiere on Saturday, April 9 at 9/8c and it couldn’t come soon enough because this whole Droughtlander thing has gone on for too long!

The network teased us with some of the new costumes back in January, but this new poster is something else. Claire’s gorgeous red dress makes you travel back in time just from looking at it and you can’t miss the “Viva les Frasers” splashed across the image. Terry Dresbach did a phenomenal job on the costumes in the upcoming season. Check out People StyleWatch for their exclusive interview with Dresbach.

Last we saw Jamie and Claire, they found out they were pregnant and about to board a ship to France to see about changing the future…well, Jamie’s future and Claire’s knowledge of the past. The new trailer (seen below) shows us that Claire has indeed gone back to Frank and can barely look at him. I mean, I can barely look at him because now all we see is Black Jack Randall and all the horrible things he’s done.

To catch up on all things Outlander, make sure to subscribe to the Outlandish podcast!

Here’s a clip that Starz released in January during the Television Critics Association:

‘Younger’ Season 2 Premiere Preview [PHOTOS]

"Younger" (Ep. 201- Airs January 13, 2016)

I’M SO EXCITED FOR YOUNGER TO COME BACK! This show gives me all the feels! Plus, it’s smart, funny and Sutton Foster is just so darn likeable. I love this show so much it hurts!

Anyways, I digress. Last we saw, Liza had told Josh everything…her age, the fact that she had a daughter and he seemed to be okay with that. Let’s hope that he feels the same way this season because we wouldn’t want to lose him, well, unless Charles comes into play. But I feel that can only happen if Liza reveals her age to everyone at work. Or maybe not. So many questions!!

Liza will have to decide whether or not to tell her daughter Caitlin about Josh as well. That’s a lot of secrets to keep. The series was already picked up for a third season so Liza will have plenty of time to work it out 🙂

Younger premieres on Wednesday, Jan. 13 with two back-to-back episodes starting at 10/9c on TV Land.

"Younger" (Ep. 201- Airs January 13, 2016)

“Younger” (Ep. 201- Airs January 13, 2016)

Younger follows 40-year old Liza (Sutton Foster), a suddenly single mother who tries to get back into the working world, only to find it’s nearly impossible to start at the bottom at her age. When a chance encounter with a young guy at a bar convinces her she looks younger than she is, Liza tries to pass herself off as 26 – with the help of a makeover, courtesy of her best friend Maggie (Debi Mazar). Armed with new confidence, she lands a job as an assistant to the temperamental Diana (Miriam Shor) and teams up with her new co-worker and 20-something Kelsey (Hilary Duff) to make it in the career of her dreams. Now she just has to make sure no one finds out the secret only she and Maggie share…and now Josh.

The official synopsis for “Tattoo You”:

Liza tries to sort out her relationship with Josh as her daughter Caitlin returns from school. Guest star: Bobby Flay

The official synopsis for “The Mao Function”:

Liza questions Josh’s interest in her while another publisher courts Kelsey.

5 Things You Need to Know About ‘Outlander’ Season 2

“This season changes everything for Claire and Jamie”

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been feeling empty inside without some Outlander in my life. I’VE BEEN IN DROUGHTLANDER!!!! Last we saw Jamie and Claire, they found out they were pregnant and about to board a ship to France to see about changing the future…well, Jamie’s future and Claire’s knowledge of the past.

At the Television Critics Association winter session, Starz gave the fans a bit of a teaser for what’s to come in season 2 of Outlander.

1. Bienvenue en France
The teaser showed Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) in France because that’s where Prince Charles Stuart is along with the rest of the Jacobites. They attend galas and dinners at the King’s palace in order to infiltrate the Jacobite movement in hopes of stopping the battle of Culloden.

2.  New Characters
Caitriona and Sam are excited for us to see the new cast members that are joining their little show. “We hRichard Rankin_Roger Wakefieldave some fantastic new characters coming in. There are new enemies, new allies,” added Heughan. Scottish actor Richard Rankin has been cast to play the fan favorite role of Roger Wakefield in season two. Roger is described as “intelligent, kindhearted, and charming, Roger is the grown up version of Reverend Wakefield’s adorable adopted son we met in Season One.  After his parents died in World War II, Roger was raised by the Reverend (with help from his housekeeper, Mrs. Graham) and is a proud Scot through and through. Now a professor at Oxford, Roger has a keen interest in history, and all the secrets and insight it presents.”

3.  Diana Gabaldon on her writing
Dayum! A reporter tried to get Diana Gabaldon to throw some serious shade today, referencing George R.R. Martin’s inability to finish the book in time for Game of Thrones.“Unlike George, I write no matter where I am or whatever I’m doing.” Gabaldon added, “I don’t plan books out ahead of time or write in a straight line. I knew there was more to Outlander after the first book.” She says it’s been a very collaborative process and has even written one of the episodes in the upcoming season.

4.   Premiere Date
While we still don’t have an exact date, we do know that the second season of Outlander will premiere in April 2016 on Starz.

5.  The costumes
Terry Dresbach did a phenomenal job on the upcoming season. Check out some of the gorgeous pieces Caitriona and Sam get to wear in season two.

‘Nashville’ Preview: “Road Happy” [Photos and Video]

Last week’s episode of Nashville showed a glimpse of Rayna’s wild side and even her determination in surpassing Jeff Fordham in every way possible. By the end of the episode she signed Sadie Stone to Highway 65 and showed Fordham just how tough she is. Luke and Rayna are combining their tours so they can spend more time together and plan the wedding that works for them. Zoey thought something was going on between Gunnar and Scarlett but turns out she’s just a paranoid girlfriend whose friends were just trying to throw a girl a surprise party.

Avery is just a big ole mess and has probably a bit more to go before hitting rock bottom. Juliette still hasn’t told him about the baby, which she should really do at this point. She initially wanted to give the baby up for adoption but I think that’s going to change now that she thought she lost it. But can we talk about when she went to see Glenn at his house and he was without his toupee? Super sweet.

This week’s episode titled “Road Happy” finds Juliette struggling to hide her pregnancy while shooting sex scenes for her new movie. Rayna’s increased fame is creating a lot of new changes and problems with her children. Daphne is feeling a bit entitled while Maddie is still super miserable and selfish. Will is still struggling to keep his bride and Jeff Fordham happy by staying in the closet and goes on to make a few mistakes that could cost him. Meanwhile, Scarlett is still her annoying self and finds a homeless man that inspires her while songwriting.

Check out a clip and a few stills from this week’s episode.

Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.

“Road Happy” – Juliette frets over hiding her pregnancy before filming a sex scene with movie star Noah West (Derek Hough). Rayna flies her kids to meet her on tour, but learns that her increased fame now that she’s engaged to Luke is making Daphne feel entitled, while Maddie is simply miserable. Kiley (Alexa PenaVega) tells Gunnar she’s leaving town, Will starts making careless mistakes in his personal life, and Scarlett is inspired by a homeless man (Mykelti Williamson) she meets while songwriting.
Guest starring are Chaley Rose as Zoey Dalton, Aubrey Peeples as Layla Grant, Ed Amatrudo as Glenn Goodman, Kourtney Hansen as Emily, Brette Taylor as Pam York, Derek Hough as Noah West, David Alford as Bucky Dawes, Laura Benanti as Sadie Stone, William Neenan as Director, and Alexa PenaVega as Kiley York.

‘Arrow’ Preview: “Corto Maltese” [Photos and Video]

Last week’s episode dealt with the death of one of their own as well as showing us that Thea is alive and well with her father off in Corto Maltese. Oh, and she’s also learning how to fight. Seems like she’s bonded with the man that she originally wanted nothing to do with.

This week’s episode has Oliver, Diggle and Roy on a trip to bring Thea back home where she belongs. While they’re there, Diggle is to find one of Lyla’s operative’s who’s gone dark and goes by the name of Mark Shaw (David Cubitt). Felicity starts her new job, working for Ray Palmer and we’re not sure how she’s going to break that news to Oliver and the rest of the team.

Check out a trailer and stills from this week’s episode below.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

Episode Description: OLIVER SEARCHES FOR THEA IN CORTO MALTESE WHILE DIGGLE TRACKS A.R.G.U.S. AGENT MARK SHAW — Oliver (Stephen Amell) decides it’s time for Thea (Willa Holland) to come back to Starling City, so he packs for Corto Maltese, where Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) has traced Thea’s whereabouts. Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) asks Diggle (David Ramsey) to go with Oliver because one of her field operatives, Mark Shaw (guest star David Cubitt), has gone dark in Corto Maltese and she’d like him to look into it. Feeling responsible for Thea’s departure, Roy (Colton Haynes) joins Oliver and Diggle on their journey. Shaw double-crosses Diggle, putting numerous A.R.G.U.S. agents, including Lyla, at risk. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) meets Ted Grant (J.R. Ramirez), and Felicity adjusts to her new job.

‘The Good Wife’ Preview: “Shiny Objects” [Photos and Video]

Last week’s episode of The Good Wife was probably one of the best episode of the entire series. I wanted them to shoot the entire episode at the table. We can tell that Eli and Alicia are getting pretty serious about her running for State’s Attorney, to the point that they brought well respected campaign manager, Jonathan Elfman (Steven Pasquale) to the house to discuss oppo research. That took quite the turn when they brought some pretty tough secrets to light, especially ones that Alicia didn’t know about. Not only did Zach lie to her and say he was going to look at colleges for the weekend, but he went with his then-girlfriend, Neesa, to get an abortion and didn’t tell her about it. Even her parents knew about it. This made Alicia’s skin boil. I mean, I’d be pissed too. Now she thinks he’s lying about everything, including the bong photos from last season. Good thing Eli didn’t let Jonathan Elfman (Steven Pasquale) tell her about the intern in Peter’s office. That would have been too much.

This week’s episode titled “Shiny Objects” has the entire team of Florrick/Agos/Lockhart on red alert when a hacker seizes control and threatens to delete all of their files.

‘Nashville’ Preview: “I Feel Sorry for Me” [Photos]

Last week’s episode was as dramatic as ever. We ended with Juliette on Rayna’s doorstep, asking for advice as to how they hell she is going to deal with this whole baby issue, and Deacon having a little fun on the road with someone other than Miss Rayna herself.

This week’s episode titled “I Feel Sorry for Me” has Rayna going after Sadie Stone (Laura Benanti) as a new artist to sign over to Highway 65, not to mention taking her away from Jeff Fordham will be such a victory for her and her label. I mean, we all sort of saw that coming. Plus, Sadie is such a huge fan why wouldn’t she want to work with her idol?

Meanwhile, Juliette is going to have to tell her team at some point that she’s prego. She’s got a terrible case of morning sickness, has crazy mood swings, and obviously doesn’t want people thinking she’s on drugs. So there’s that. Over in the love triangle world that is Zoey, Scarlett and Gunnar – Zoey thinks there’s something going on and let’s her crazy paranoia get the best of her. Although she’s probably right but Scarlett and Gunnar just don’t want to admit it.

Let’s hope Avery is finally getting his shit together this week. He really needs to call Juliette back and stop drinking so much and sleeping around. Poor thing. Also, Maddie is driving me nuts. I understand that she’s having a hard time and wants her parents (Deacon and Rayna) to get back together but she has got to get herself in check. Plus she whines a lot.

NBC’s ‘Marry Me’: “Pilot” Preview [Photos and Videos]

I knew this day would come! Casey Wilson will finally be back on my television screen on a weekly basis (if all goes well). NBC’s Marry Me is one of the cutest shows this fall TV season and let’s not forget it has a pretty talented cast as well, including Ken Marino, Tim Meadows and JoBeth Williams.

Marry Me - Season 1

Marry Me feels like the story I’ve been hearing for years from a lot of my female friends. They’ve been dating their boyfriend for about six years and he still hasn’t popped the question – he’s afraid of commitment but you know they’re meant to be.

The series follows Jake and Annie as they tell their story of how they met and how they keep trying to propose to each other, as they just can’t seem to get it right. The show opens with Jake and Annie returning from a romantic getaway vacation and he still hasn’t proposed. So while he’s kneeling on one knee, she’s roaming around the kitchen yelling at him about how he missed the perfect moment (because she’s turned around), all while the entire family is hiding in the closets and rooms listening to her rant. Did I mention that Tim Meadows and Dan Bucatinsky play Annie’s dads? Sold.

It’s an adorable show that viewers will tune-in to because Ken Marino and Casey Wilson are just hilarious on their own but even more perfect when paired together. I was a huge fan of Happy Endings (Casey Wilson is my spirit animal) and Ken Marino is absolute perfection in everything he does, especially Veronica Mars and Eastbound & Down. Also, can you believe he’s 46??? Ridiculous.

Now I’m not sure what’s going to happen after the pilot, since they pretty much tell their story in one episode, but I’m sure those flashbacks will continue and show the gradual progression of their relationship that got them to where they are today. I feel like it might take some convincing to stick with it, but I’m in.

Marry Me premieres Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.

NBC Episode Description: JAKE PLANS A ROMANTIC AT-HOME PROPOSAL TO SURPRISE ANNIE BUT THINGS DO NOT GO EXACTLY AS PLANNED – After returning from a romantic tropical vacation, Jake (Ken Marino, “Eastbound and Down”) is all set to pop the question on bended knee, but before he can ask, Annie (Casey Wilson, “Happy Endings”) lets loose on Jake for his inability to commit. Annie tries to make amends with a proposal of her own but the comedy of errors continues. The only thing we know for sure is that these two are destined to be together — whether they can get it together or not. Sarah Wright Olsen, John Gemberling, Tymberlee Hill and Tim Meadows also star. JoBeth Williams and Dan Bucatinsky guest star.

‘Scandal’ Preview: “Like Father, Like Daughter” [Photos and Video]

Scandal is just so scandalicious and I’m absolutely loving it! Let’s start off with Olivia shall we? Why can’t she just get over Fitz and be with Jake. I mean, he’s there for her apparently doing things to her that she likes and even came back to the States for her. Jake on the other hand, keeps telling her that he’s not her boyfriend, so he can’t have dinner with her creepy father, because she’s in love with another man. Speaking of Rowan, Jake knows what he did. He knows that he had Harrison and Jerry killed and told him to leave town and to never come back. We all know that Rowan would never fall for that no matter how big the threat. I think that dinner went pretty well, don’t you?

Now on to Mellie, who is still struggling to get back to normal life, which is completely understandable. She becomes fixated on this national news story about a husband and wife who went hiking only to have the husband fall to his death and the wife presumed to have pushed him. She basically calls a cabinet meeting only to find herself embarrassed as they’ve already solved the case.

David Rosen seems to have found himself inside the President’s inner circle, a.k.a The Bubble. He helps President Grant with the issue of gun control, only to find the senator he had blackmailed is now dead. Suicide by gun. Go figure.

Lizzie (Portia de Rossi) is still doing whatever it is that she’s doing and it seems to be working, as no last name Michael (Matthew Del Negro) finally got Cyrus to give it up. We all know it’s going to come out that he’s paid for sex with a male prostitute.

In this week’s episode titled “Like Father, Like Daughter,” Fitz asks Olivia to shut down a situation that could destroy the Grant family’s reputation – assuming this has something to do with Olivia finding Karen Grant, now played by Mary Mouser, which we reported earlier last month.

Scandal airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
