The CW Sets Season Finale Dates for ‘Arrow,’ ‘The Flash,’ ‘Supernatural’ and More

The CW has announced season finale dates for The Flash, Arrow, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Reign, Jane the Virgin and The Originals. 

The season finale of The 100 airs Wednesday, March 11 at 9 p.m., while Hart of Dixie’s Season 4 finale will air Friday, March 27 at 8 p.m.

The third season of Beauty and the Beast premieres on Thursday, May 21 at 8 p.m., while The Messengers premieres on Friday, April 21 at 9 p.m.

Monday, May 11The Originals at 8 p.m. | Jane the Virgin at 9 p.m.

Wednesday, May 13 – Arrow wraps up its third season at 8 p.m.

Thursday, May 14 – The Vampire Diaries at 8 p.m. | Reign at 9 p.m.

Tuesday, May 19 – The Flash will end its freshman season at 8 p.m.

Wednesday, May 20 – Supernatural at 9 p.m.

The CW Renews 8 Shows Including ‘Arrow,’ ‘Jane the Virgin,’ The Flash’ and More for 2015-2016 Season

The CW Network has picked up eight of its current series for the 2015-2016 season, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW, during the network’s session at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena.

The renewals include some obvious choices like Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, The Originals and The Flash, which is the most-watched show in the CW’s history. Some shows that don’t have the best ratings but definitely fan-favorites include The 100, Reign and Jane the Virgin, for which title star Gina Rodriguez is nominated for a Golden Globe.

In essence, The CW picked up all of the scripted series from its Fall 2014 schedule to next season.

“Each of these series have helped define what The CW is today, a network that is home to smart, provocative, quality programming, targeting a savvy adult audience,” said Pedowitz.  “By picking up these shows now, our executive producers can start planning next season’s storylines, and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 line-ups.”

The CW Sets Midseason Premiere Dates for ‘iZombie,’ ‘The Messengers’; Moves ‘Supernatural’

The CW set midseason premiere dates for their new dramas iZombie and The Messengers on Sunday at the Television Critics Association winter session. The network also revealed a return date for their hit series Supernatural, which will shift to a new night.

The comic book-inspired iZombie, starring Rose McIver as the overly-achieving medical student-turned zombie who eats brains and sees flashes of memories from the dead, premieres Tuesday, March 17 at 9/8c after The Flash.

Supernatural, starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as demon hunting brothers, will return from its midseason hiatus on Wednesday, March 18 at 9/8c following Arrow. 

Finally, The Messengers, an apocalyptic drama, debuts Friday, April 10 at 9 p.m. ET after the premiere of Cedric’s Barber Battle, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, and the return of Whose Line Is It Anyway? at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET respectively.

If you were looking to find out when Beauty and the Beast returns, you’re not alone. The CW has yet to announce when the show will appear on the schedule. However, at the CW TCA panel, Mark Pedowitz did say it would be returning in late May or early June.
