A house with a white picket fence, cupcakes, Olicity…I mean, who really thought it would be happily ever after?! Of course there would be trouble in the now Star City and the gang would have to get back together. Plus, everyone gets a costume. Thea aka Speedy demands to be called Red Arrow, Oliver is now Green Arrow and even Diggle gets his own mask!

The premiere finds Oliver and Felicity living the life they always wanted, away from the craziness of Star City and bad guys. Only, they’re both meant for something more. Oliver becomes someone new to help fight new bad guys including Damien Darhk played by Neal McDonough.

Arrow premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Season 4 Trailer:

The Synopsis for “Green Arrow”:

MY NAME IS THE GREEN ARROW — Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) blissful getaway is cut short when Thea (Willa Holland) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) pay them a visit and tell Oliver they need his help back in Star City. The city has been attacked by “Ghosts,” assassins led by a dangerous man named Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). However, when Oliver returns, Diggle (David Ramsey) makes it very clear that he doesn’t want Oliver on the team.

Watch Trailers for The CW’s New Shows: ‘Containment,’ ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,’ and ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’

The CW announced their fall 2015-16 schedule early Thursday morning and released a few trailers their upcoming new series, to get us all a little excited for what’s to come later on this year. Personally, I can’t wait for the Arrow-Flash spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Julie Plec’s Containment.

Check out the trailers below and let us know what you think!

CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND – Mondays at 8:00 p.m.

CW Releases Fall 2015 Schedule: ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ Lands on Mondays, ‘Vampire Diaries’ & ‘Originals’ Join Forces on Tuesdays, ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Held for Midseason

The CW is the last broadcast network to release their fall 2015-16 schedule, and if you’ve been watching this past season, you’ll notice that not much has really changed. Seriously, there’s one new show this fall.

New comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend gets pairs up with returning series Jane the Virgin during the 8 p.m. time slot while The Flash and iZombie stay put on Tuesdays. Wednesdays aren’t changing either, however, fang-favorite The Originals is moving to Thursdays, immediately following The Vampire Diaries at 9 p.m. Finally! The two vampire shows are airing on the same night!

CW president Mark Pedowitz announced today during the upfront presentation that the third season of Reign will move over to Fridays, aka where shows go to die. But he says he’s hoping that doesn’t happen because the show skews a bit older and won’t be up against anything Shonda related. But didn’t you just move The Originals to that very same time slot you were afraid of?! I’m confused.

Anyways, let’s get to some more of the new shows we’re totally psyched about like DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Julie Plec’s new drama series Containment. Both shows are being held for midseason along with returning shows The 100, Whose Line is it Anyway? and Beauty and the Beast.

New Series Descriptions

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends.  Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself.  Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known? DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW stars Victor Garber (“The Flash,” “Alias”); Brandon Routh (“Arrow,” “Superman Returns”); Arthur Darvill (“Doctor Who”); Caity Lotz (“Arrow”); Ciarra Renee (“Pippin”); Franz Drameh (“Edge of Tomorrow”); with Dominic Purcell (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”); and Wentworth Miller (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”). Based on the characters from DC Comics, DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” upcoming “Pan”), Marc Guggenheim (“Arrow,” “Eli Stone,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”), Andrew Kreisberg (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Eli Stone,” “Warehouse 13”) and Sarah Schechter (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” upcoming “Pan”).

When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure. Torn apart from their loved ones, the survivors trapped within the cordon are fighting against not only fatal infection, but also isolation, fear, and the disintegration of society around them. But as they begin to gain each other’s trust, hope remains, and on either side of the cordon unlikely heroes will rise. CONTAINMENT stars David Gyasi (“Interstellar”); Christina Moses (“Starship: Apocalypse,” “Starship: Rising”); Chris Wood (“The Vampire Diaries”); Kristen Gutoskie (“Beaver Falls”); Claudia Black (“The Originals,” “Farscape”); George Young (“Casualty”); Hanna Mangan Lawrence (“Spartacus: War of the Damned”); and Trevor St. John (“One Life to Live”).  Based on the original Belgian series created by Carl Joos for Eyeworks, CONTAINMENT is produced by My So-Called Company in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Julie Plec (“The Vampire Diaries,” “The Originals”) and David Nutter (“The Flash,” “Arrow”

Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) is a successful, driven, and possibly crazy young woman who impulsively gives up everything – her partnership at a prestigious law firm and her upscale apartment in Manhattan – in a desperate attempt to find love and happiness in that exotic hotbed of romance and adventure: suburban West Covina, Calif. (it’s only two hours from the beach! Four in traffic). From CBS Television Studios, CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND stars Rachel Bloom (“Robot Chicken”), who also serves as executive producer along with Aline Brosh McKenna (“The Devil Wears Prada”); and Marc Webb (“500 Days of Summer,” “The Amazing Spider-Man” films).

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Preview: “I Never Could Love Like That”

It’s been almost a month since Caroline and Stefan have turned off their humanity and I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to find out what they’ve been up to. What sort of destruction have they been causing? I can only imagine. Here’s hoping they’ve just been sleeping their way all over town while “snacking” a bit.

Alas, that is not the case. They’ve actually left a slew of bodies in the path, leaving Jo to clean up their mess, pulling in Elena to help with Damon to figure out a way to turn Stefan and Caroline’s humanity back on.

After finding out about Jo’s pregnancy, Elena starts to reevaluate her own life, especially the life of being a vampire.

Meanwhile, Caroline has Tyler and Matt trapped the Skull Bar playing a twisted game of “How Well Do You Know Caroline?”

Will Damon be able to flip the switch in time before something horrible happens?

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

The official synopsis for “I Never Could Love Like That”:

KILLER KARAOKE — With their humanity turned off, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) begin wreaking havoc at Whitmore, leaving Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to come up with a risky plan involving Lily (guest star Annie Wersching). After rushing to help Jo (guest star Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) treat victims of Stefan and Caroline’s latest killing spree, Elena (Nina Dobrev) discovers Jo is pregnant, prompting her to reevaluate her own life as a vampire. Meanwhile, when Sarah (guest star Tristan Mays) boldly turns the tables on an unsuspecting Enzo (Michael Malarkey), he is forced to open up about his tragic past. Lastly, at Scull Bar, a twisted round of karaoke leaves Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Matt (Zach Roerig) in a dangerous situation.

‘The Originals’ Photo Gallery: “Exquisite Corpse”

After testing Freya in order to believe she is who she says she is, Klaus is forced to put aside his feelings about her in order to save his other sister Rebekah.

Rebekah realizes that the body she’s been inhabiting is trying to regain control and doing things she doesn’t remember doing. Like killing innocent children.

According to Executive Producer Michael Narducci, “it is the showdown we’ve been waiting for between Rebekah Mikaelson and the spirit of the host body she’s taken over, Eva Sinclair, a very evil witch.”

Basically, everyone will do whatever they can to save her life. No matter what.

Because family.

The Originals airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

Exquisite Corpse

The official synopsis for “Exquisite Corpse”:

CONTROLLING THE DEMON — When Eva Sinclair’s (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) reemergence leaves Rebekah trapped and helpless, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is forced to put aside his mistrust for Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel) in order to save Rebekah’s life. Meanwhile, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) learn more about Eva’s violent past from Josephine (guest star Meg Foster), who then makes a startling revelation about Hayley’s future. With time running out to save Rebekah, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) turns to a reluctant Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) for his help to take down Eva, but his plan takes an unexpected turn, as Eva will not go down without a fight. Danielle Campbell also stars. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Declan de Barra & Diane Ademu-John (#217). Original airdate 4/6/2015.

This is probably going to be the most exciting episode of The Flash all season, as Mark Hamill guest stars to reprise his role as the original Trickster. Now, there seems to be a new Trickster in Central City and Joe and Barry have to visit the OG to ask for his help in finding and catching this new copycat Trickster! So much trickery 🙂

Meanwhile, Ray Palmer learns about Oliver’s nightly activities as the Arrow, so he puts on the Atom suit and they have a bit of a standoff. Felicity should have known that he’d find out and should have warned Oliver. Tsk Tsk.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Preview: “A Bird in a Gilded Cage”

Caroline has lost her f*cking mind!! I thought she would be this fun vampire without her humanity but clearly I was so, so wrong. She made Liam perform open heart surgery on Sarah, or at least attempt to. She basically could give zero f*cks about what’s going on with her friends and didn’t even smile, let alone react when she realized Bonnie was back.

Speaking of Bonnie, that poor thing. She can barely handle living back in the real world with her friends again and people for that matter. She burned a guy just saying she’s hot and wanting to dance with her. The struggle is real, girl.

Let’s not forget the fact that Enzo is starting to have feelings for Sarah, which is totally weird. And by the end of it all, the only thing Caroline wants is for Stefan to turn off his humanity and come play with her. That’s it. No big deal. Except for the fact that he doesn’t have a system in place like Caroline does, to keep him in check. He turns into a freaking ripper! We all know how this could end.

Last we hear is Stefan telling Elena to bring him back. Sure. Easier said than done my friend. Remember the last time he did that?!

Meanwhile, Damon is dealing with the fact that his mother (Annie Wersching) is still alive and trapped in 1903. Damon and Elena travel back to the prison world to save her. Are you ready to meet Mama Salvatore?

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

The official synopsis for “A Bird in a Gilded Cage”:

DAMON TRAVELS TO THE 1903 PRISON WORLD — With the help of Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Kai (guest star Chris Wood), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) set forth a plan to rescue Damon’s mother Lily (guest star Annie Wersching), who is trapped in the 1903 prison world. Meanwhile, when Caroline’s (Candice Accola) plan for Stefan (Paul Wesley) backfires, she is left to pick up the pieces. Elsewhere, back at Whitmore College, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) and Alaric’s (Matt Davis) attempt to reel Caroline back in doesn’t quite go as planned when they realize they’re outmaneuvered. Lastly, an unexpected gift from Bonnie leaves Damon shaken to his core. Joshua Butler directed the episode written by Neil Reynolds (#617). Original airdate 3/19/2015

The CW’s ‘iZombie’: “Pilot” Preview [PHOTOS]

From the creator of Veronica Mars, comes the newest CW series about a young woman named Liv, who just happens to be undead.

iZombie, stars Rose McIver at Olivia “Liv” Moore, who after a crazy party one night is now among the dead and tries to find her place in “life” now that all she wants to do is eat brains. Liv finds herself stuck in the same life only pretending to be, shall we say, different. Her new look is played off by her newfound love of “goth” and soon she ends up with a job in the medical examiners office as a way to supplement her craving for brains. Her boss, Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli), is absolutely intrigued by what’s happened to Liv and is excited by the scientific possibilities. He’s also promised to help her in her quest to find Blaine, the zombie responsible for her current undead status.

As she begins to feed on the minds of those Jane and John Doe’s, she discovers that she can retain a portion of that person’s memories, thereby helping out Detective Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) in solving crimes. The only way she can account for knowing all these factual details is to pretend that she’s a psychic.

Rose McIver is absolutely adorable and leaves you wanting more. As for the gore, well, they definitely could use a little more but it’s hard to tell just from the pilot. We’ll see how the series plays out. The CW is of course not without its eye candy, so I’ll definitely be tuning in for David Anders and Robert Buckley.

iZombie premieres Tuesday, March 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Official CW Synopsis:

Olivia “Liv” Moore was a rosy-cheeked, disciplined, over-achieving medical resident who had her life path completely mapped out…until the night she attended a party that unexpectedly turned into a zombie feeding frenzy.  Now as one of the newly undead, Liv is doing her best to blend in and look as human as possible.  Her appearance passes for “Goth,” with shockingly pale skin and nearly white hair, and her demeanor has gone from exuberant to exhausted.

The change in Liv is baffling to her former fiancé, Major, her mother, Eva, and her best friend and roommate, Peyton, who still has the high-energy, Type-A personality that Liv has completely abandoned.  Despite her post-traumatic ennui, Liv has devised a clever way to resist her baser urges to devour fresh human brains – she’s taken a job in the Seattle coroner’s office.  In this appropriately dead-end job, Liv can secretly snack on the brains of the many Jane and John Doe corpses that make a final stop in the morgue.  Despite carefully covering her tracks, Liv’s brilliant but eccentric boss, Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, discovers her secret and is surprisingly excited about the scientific possibilities.  Dr. Ravi even helps Liv in her search for Blaine, the zombie responsible for her current undead status.

Even with her boss’ enthusiasm, Liv remains resigned to an eternity as a zombie without hope or purpose – until she realizes that with every brain she consumes, she retains a portion of that person’s memories.  Liv suddenly begins to experience disturbing and often violent visions from the point of view of the murder victims.  Much to the surprise of Dr. Ravi and homicide detective Clive Babineaux, Liv often has detailed knowledge of crime scenes and motives that she can’t easily explain.  Posing as a psychic, she works with Detective Babineaux to investigate these crimes and discover who is responsible.  It’s not the same as being alive again, but at least she can find purpose in her undead existence by helping Clive solve the murders of those who are indeed fully dead.

The series stars Rose McIver (“Masters of Sex,” “Once Upon a Time”) as Liv, Malcolm Goodwin (“Breakout Kings”) as Clive Babineaux, newcomer Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Robert Buckley (“One Tree Hill”) as Major Lilywhite and David Anders (“Once Upon a Time,” “The Vampire Diaries”) as Blaine DeBeers.

Based upon characters created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred, and published by DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint, iZOMBIE is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Spondoolie Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Rob Thomas (“Veronica Mars,” “Party Down,” “Cupid”), Diane Ruggiero-Wright (“Veronica Mars,” “The Ex List,” “That’s Life”), Danielle Stokdyk (“Veronica Mars,” “Party Down,” “Cupid”) and Dan Etheridge (“The Carrie Diaries,” “Veronica Mars,” “Party Down”).
